Kevin Seymour has not only shaped the success of Seymour Group, he has shaped Brisbane’s central business district through his prestige developments. It was Kevin who introduced the apartment tower concept to Brisbane, creating a dynamic and exclusive waterfront precinct of world-class standard in Queensland’s capital. He is a leader with real vision. He is a true entrepreneur.
Aside from his position with Seymour Group, Kevin Seymour is the Deputy Chairman Ariadne Australia Limited.
Kevin’s past positions include Chairman of Watpac Ltd, Director of Tatts, Chair of the Albion Park Harness Racing Club.
In June 2003, Kevin received the Centenary Medal for distinguished service to business and commerce through the construction industry, and in June 2005 he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his service to business, the racing industry, and the community. Kevin was previously the Chairman of the RBH Herston Taskforce Redevelopment, Independent Chairman of the Queensland Government’s and Brisbane City Council's Brisbane Housing Company Limited and Chairman of Briz31 Community TV. He has also served on the Brisbane Lord Mayor's Drugs Taskforce and is an Honorary Ambassador for the City of Brisbane
