In 2003, Seymour Group commenced a major refurbishment and re-letting of the centre and commercial tower formerly known as Valley Centre Plaza in Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley. This included the creation of a central food court, upgrade of the common mall area, facilities and improved shop fronts. The quality of the refurbishment was evident in the successful leasing of the centre and its ability to attract international, national and local brands. Valley Metro was sold by Seymour Group in 2006.
